Square Enix Marvel Universe Variant Bring Arts Captain America, Iron Man And Spider-Man Official Images

Jay Cochran - July 01, 2020
Square Enix brings back their Marvel Universe Variant line, this time under the smaller scale Bring Arts line. We first saw these three figures, Captain America, Spider-Man and Iron Man back in February during Toy Fair, and now we have official images for them to share.

Captain America stands 6.4" tall has multiple hands, stand, and two versions of his shield.

Iron Man stands 7.1" tall and has multiple hands, stand and wing armor parts that double as an armor shield.

Spider-Man stands 5.8" tall and has multiple hands, stand and arms for the Iron-Spider look.

The MSRP for these will be $134.99 each and these will be released in December 2020. Look for them to go up for pre-order later today.

The Iron spider doesnt look half bad, but for $135 I would neverbuy it, btw what is up with Square/Enix figures I remember not too long ago play arts kai figures werent even $80 (and those where the 10-12 inch scaled figures)and suddenly they started to raise their prices with each release/line and now 140 for 6in figures, they are way out of line, I sometimes think Mezco 80-100 prices are a bit high butstill think they are worth it more than any Square figure, specially these 6" figures.

Yeah, its like they went freaking nuts. Neither their quality or their designs warrants that price. I still remember when I got my Final Fantasy 7 playarts figures. they were only like $25 back then.

They are so angular and an easy pass

I agree, especially at that price!

They look cool, of course they are highly stylized, I can see why some may not like the designs. Also, it is cool to see they are making more 6"-ish scale figures. That said, Bring Arts still has to improve regarding their QC, especially considering the high prices they charge. I've got quite a few paint splotches on the last fig I got from them.
