What do we think are the odds of this figure getting a re-release within a year or two without the brown jacket?

If this did happen I'd be so tempted to display it with Cap and Wolvie......

I'd say pretty darn good, especially if its a glossier, darker shade of gray and comes in a 2pack, say, with the comic book Yelena Widow belly shirt.

Gorgeous figure! I personally would have preferred the more plain 80's costume, but I understand why they went with this version. I'm still getting it for sure. The head sculpt looks absolutely fantastic! Actually, any of my fellow 80s children here get a 'Desperately Seeking Susan' feel from the face sculpt? Lol

Ya, for some reason they think the elimination of the pins is going to strengthen the legs, but it isn't so much the joints (though they are part of the problem) as the legs are just to damn thin and gummy. From first perceptions the new Rogue figure does have "thicker" thighs, similar to the Jim Lee Storm, Psylocke and the newer version of Scarlet Witch, and while invisible pins thing should make the figure aesthetically pleasing (sucks for us customizers), I think the thickening and strengthening of the material the legs are made of is the key. What is gonna suck the worst is that if this project ends up working out well, we're all gonna be wanting all the female figs they've already done with the old legs to be redone with the new legs. It's for this reason I'm voting for Elektra in the Fan Pole. The Sif I have already has decent leg strength, and I seriously couldn't care less about Silk, but a leggierElektra without those spindly, stringy, warped legs is first on my list.

Medium-ish? Wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up in a retro wave (or another fan-channel exclusive).

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a reissue. Probably won't have the Jetpack though

Photo 11 is very weird if you're rapidly browsing through the images, like me.

Totally agreed on this one...had to look back and try to figure it out

Looks to me like the best bet would be to pop the arms, remove the "vest", and then repaint the arms from a jacket-less/Retro Widow to match the gray and pop them back on. If you're feeling super ambitious it could just be the upper arms and you could put the lower arms from this one on it.

Need to be careful on popping out arms and legs..i did that to remove my the yellow belt of my marvel select psylocke...left a nasty dent

They did. Not sure if it's all new, but both Legacy Rogue and FA Storm have all new arms and legs with no pins.
