6" Movie Thor & Captain America Figures Confirmed

Yesterday we told you about images showing actors Chris Hemsworth & Chris Evans visiting the Hasbro Showroom this week during the New York Toy Fair, where the two posed with previously unseen action figures of themselves in the photos. Though many suspected these were 6" figures, it was not 100% clear until now.

According to a Facebook post by Marvel Comics, the figures are in fact 6" ones.

The reason why there was some confusion about this is because Hasbro has as-of-yet made no mention of a 6" line in the works forThor or Captain America, however Hasbro did something similar last year when Robert Downey Jr. visited the Hasbro showroom for Iron Man 2, and was photographed with a 6" Iron Man figure that was later revealed to be released as a Wal-Mart exclusive.

No word on when, how or where these 6" Thor and Cap figures will be released. We also don't know if these will be the only onese relased or if more characters will be forthcoming in the 6" scale. Stay-tuned for more information as we learn more.
