Marvel Narrows Captain America Casting List Down To Three

Jay Cochran - March 07, 2010
We recently posted that Marvel announced a list of seven actors who are in the running to star in "The First Avenger: Captain America." Since then the list has been narrowed down to five and two more names have been cut from the list.

Michael Cassidy revealed via his Twitter account: "No Captain America for me."

This information was followed up by Scott Porter who also announced that he didn't get the part. "Ain't Cap. Thank you all for the prayers though, I appreciate them all so very much," he said on his Facebook page.

This leaves just three actors who could end up getting the role. They are John Krasinski, Chace Crawford and Mike Vogel.
